Gucci has collaborated with Perfect Magazine's Issue Zero to produce Notes from the Underground, inviting musical artists from the independent, experimental and avant-pop fringe, chosen by by photographer and musician Steve Mackey, to perform exclusively for Perfect across a variety of media.
Accompanying each issue of Perfect Magazine is a flexi disc, one of a series of 11 featuring a recording of each performance that can be played on a turntable like vinyl, with original artwork designed by Alessandro Michele. The issue takes its distinctive square, record-sleeve format from the flexi disc contained within it.
