    Description

    This is an ex-library collection of January, February and March 1945 Saturday Evening Post.
    That said, this is a VERY NICE CLEAN bound magazine book. You will not see multiple thumbing creases from multiple viewing with all issues having white pages. Not tanning or browning. It will have an old library book smell. It is NOT a mildew or musty smell.
    All issues have their front covers. No back covers were bound in.
    Red binding shows some fading on the spine with gold lettering "SATURDAY EVENING POST" at top and "VOL. 217 JAN-MAR. 1942" middle and "FRANK PHILLIPS LIBRARY" at the bottom of the spine.
    In 1945 w
    hen America was united, North & South / Rep & Dem and our young men of the greatest generation were fighting the Axis powers as all of the demands at home to win this world war fell on our young women.
    Saturday Evening Post was keeping the spirit of our country alive with short stories, news articles & art illustrations. The television show, THE WALTONS, captured/mirrored the Post with its rural family life of the 30's-40's. WWII opinions, photos and articles.

    I do not use USPS flat rate boxes. They offer no protection for these heavy book. It will be securely packaged. It will arrive in the same condition as I send it.
    Any ex-library bound magazine book
    will generally have wear/tape repair/clippings/missing pages. Two hours spent checking every magazine in this bound volume page by page for missing pages. All have front covers. All back covers were not bound into book. Full page ads being on both sides of a page were not bound into the book.
    Missing pages are double sided full page ads with one on each side of a single page
