    Description

True North SAR SEARCH & RESCUE / DAYPACK HIKING CAMPING. SIZE M. Super clean inside and out. Excellent condition.
This pack has almost no signs of use. It is in near pristine condition.
The zippered main compartment is 8 1/2 inches high by 12 inches wide and 6 inches deep. This compartment also has a separate, but attached, zippered mesh pocket at the back. The front of the main compartment has a zippered expandable pocket across the front.
Behind the main compartment (on the back) there are two hidden flat compartments secured by velcro edges. There is padding against the back and a second thick padding that rests against your back. Additionally there is a thick foam board that slips into the back padded sleeve for extra comfort. It can be completely removed if you don't need it. The top also has a hand strap, double zipper closures and two over the top clip closures.
The waistband has padding against the hips and a heavy duty strap and extra large buckle.
The front straps have thick padding for comfort and are fully adjustable in front and in back. There is also an adjustable chest strap.
Two large bottle holders with pinch and cinch closures and mesh bottom halves are situated on both sides.
Tagged M. The fully extended belt fits a 33 waist or less.
No holes, tears, stains or sun-fade. I find one production or design flaw: the top hand strap is positioned and heavily stitched close to the opening for the back padding and extra foam board. When the foam board is inside a couple single rows of the velcro loops are exposed close to the underside of the hand strap. This causes the underside of the hand strap to stick to the velcro loops. The result is a fine fraying of the cording. It is a cosmetic flaw on the underside and does not imperil the strap.
I find one minor post-production flaw: the two snap buttons, on the chest strap, have a light patina from one-time use in salt air environment. It presents as a fine and smooth green pitting on the exterior surface of the metal (SEE PIC # 11). This is also cosmetic and does not imperil the snap buttons. (I forgot to wipe the metal after a seaside trip). These two buttons are the only metal on the pack.
This versatile and well-made pack is clean, bright and ready for action.
THE MAIN COMPARTMENT WAS STUFFED FOR THE PHOTOS.
